Ambler Vandalism … Several businesses, residences and municipal properties in the borough have been sprayed with graffiti in recent weeks, police said. Police are asking anyone who has information regarding these acts of vandalism to contract the Ambler Police Department at 215-646-1000. All calls are confidential.
Elgin police employee charged with felony theft
A veteran police department community service officer has been charged with stealing $1,500 in bond money posted at the police department.Sarai Villarreal, 33, of the 300 block of South Clifton Ave., was charged Friday with official misconduct and felony theft. She is accused of stealing the money in three separate incidents last month while working the front desk at the department.
